Packamama

Packamama takes its name from Pachamama, the Andean earth mother, and builds that idea into the product: wine bottles made from 100% recycled PET, redesigned to lower the environmental cost of packaging. The starting question was straightforward: if the wine bottle did not already exist and had to be invented now, what would it look like?

The answer is an eco-flat bottle that is 87% lighter and 40% spatially smaller than traditional glass. Those two changes reduce carbon footprint, cut transport and storage costs, and because the material is fully recycled and recyclable, keep the bottle within a circular economy rather than sending it to landfill.

The bottles are already in use by established wine brands including Taylors, Accolade, Miguel Torres and The Wine Society. For wine businesses, Packamama offers a practical way to reduce packaging emissions and logistics costs while meeting growing consumer demand for lower-impact products.
